Font Size

The Club donated HK$249 million to build the Jockey Club Innovation Tower at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in support of the development of Hong Kong as a leading design hub in Asia.

The Jockey Club Innovation Tower was opened in 2014. The Club’s donation also covers the establishment of the Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation and three years of its operating costs. The tower is the city’s first permanent architectural work of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Dame Zaha Hadid and is home to the university’s School of Design as well as the Institute, making it a new driving force in the development of Hong Kong as a design hub in Asia.
