In response to the demand for services for an increasing number of visually impaired seniors, the Club donated HK$166.3 million to the Hong Kong Society for the Blind to redevelop its Yuen Long Home and expand its Tuen Mun Home for blind seniors. Renovation of the Jockey Club Tuen Mun Home for the Aged Blind was completed in 2011, and has since provided continued quality care for those affected by the Yuen Long Home redevelopment and offered additional residential beds for seniors.
