Hong Kong Red Cross Headquarters Redevelopment Project
Font Size

In 2011, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust donated HK$80 million to the Hong Kong Red Cross to cover the partial cost of developing their new headquarters building on the West Kowloon reclamation. The new 11-storey building will replace the existing 45-year-old headquarters, and enable the Red Cross to put different service units under one roof, including a centre for blood collection, first aid and health care training, volunteer development and activities, humanitarian education, overseas and local disaster relief materials, overseas disaster relief and emergency response, a convention hall and much more.
