Children and young people are the pillars of our future, and therefore adequate provision of facilities and services is vital to nurturing their growth. The Hong Kong Jockey Club has always attached great importance to the betterment of young people, and in 2002 donated HK$200 million, matching a grant from the Lotteries Fund, to modernise more than 80 youth services centres across the city.
