True Martial Arts

Martial artists are often depicted in novels and dramas as fantastical creatures with incredible powers and capabilities. In reality, there are some martial artists who perform incredible feats, such as “iron cocoon”, "throat against spear", "one finger zen" and more. So how are they able to do it?

Master Chow says that in fact no matter how good of a martial artist you are, it’s not likely that you’ll ever be fighting 10 people at once or be invincible against weapons like in the movies, because there are always physical limits to what you can do. For someone who is practicing on a daily basis for many years, he may be able to fight 10 or more beginners at one time, but against more experienced fighters, he can only realistically take on two or three at most. The “iron cocoon” and “throat against spear” techniques require a combination of qigong and technical skills; and many consider this kind of kung fu to be classified more as performance art. So don’t think that you won’t get hurt even after learning the "iron cocoon”. In fact, you will!

The famous "one finger zen" technique practiced by Shaolin monks requires years of hard training to master. Are you interested in learning how they do it? Let’s listen to Master Chow! But bear in mind, don't try it yourself!
