Le French May : Inventing Le Louvre – From Palace to Museum Over 800 Years
History and beauty combine in an exhibition of precious works of art from the Louvre Museum

Under the patronage of the French Consulate and organised by the Association Culturelle France-Hong Kong, Le French May celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year. For the past six years, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust has been the Major Partner of the festival, which this year carries the theme of “Celebrate Art and Life the French Way”. With the major support by the Charites Trust, the blockbuster exhibition “Inventing Le Louvre: From Palace to Museum over 800 years” being one of the Festival highlights takes place at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. The exhibition showcases many abundant and brilliant selections of masterworks from the Louvre to illustrate its journey from palace to museum.
