The mark of “ping on” at the Jiao Festival

Martin Kwok, who makes “ping on” (means 平安 "peace and safety" in Chinese) buns, believes, “The words ‘ping on’ lie at the very heart of the Cheung Chau Jiao Festival.” Today, “ping on” has gone beyond its ritual roots, becoming a simple and heartfelt wish for the future and for those around us.
