Jockey Club supports Young Artists Project to promote arts development in community

To help cultivate the creativity of young people, more than 3,000 young artists were invited to the HK Territory-wide Youths Painting Day 2019 on 6 July to paint scenes of Hong Kong in the city's 18 districts.
Organised by the Young Artists Development Foundation, the Youths Painting Day is one of the initiatives under the Jockey Club Artists Development Programme funded by the Club’s Charities Trust since 2015.
Recently, the Trust has extended its support to the programme for another three years with two newly-added elements – Arts Appreciation Sessions and Arts Experience Sessions. The aim is to enhance the arts appreciation capabilities of young people from different backgrounds and with different abilities, enabling them to learn from painting masters in art workshops and thereby inspire their creativity, develop their potential and boost their confidence.
