The Club donated HK$250 million in 2008 to launch a citywide family research and public education project entitled “FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society”, in hopes of helping build a more harmonious society.

In collaboration with the School of Public Health of the University of Hong Kong, the project aims to identify the source of family problems, devise suitable preventive measures and promote family health, happiness and harmony (the 3Hs) through public education programmes.
