The Hong Kong Jockey Club has been supporting Summer Youth Programme since its inception in 1969, enabling millions of young people aged between six and 25 to make the best use of their summer holidays through their participation in community services, and educational, social and recreational activities so as to widen their horizons and enrich themselves. The Programme has been expanded into a full year format and renamed as Youth Development Programme since 2011.
