This time, film and television artiste Joey Meng, together with the Includrama theatre members have adapted the world-famous novel “The Rainbow Troops”, which carries the theme of "discrimination stems from misunderstanding, acceptance starts with communication”. Through watching the dramatic artistry, the audience is able to reflect on the values of life and learn about disability inclusion. Families and friends are encouraged to show their support – mark the date and book your tickets now!
The three-year Jockey Club Hand in Hand Capable Theatre Includrama Project aims to provide a platform for theatre so that equal opportunities can be given to people with different abilities, both hearing impaired, visually impaired, the physically handicapped and the able-bodied, to experience arts, explore their talent, and to live a full life.
The project holds two workshops each year, including classes in drama, sign language and stage technology. During this period, visits are also made to university, primary and secondary schools to organise Includrama and life education activities so that the public can understand the characteristics of disabled people – their abilities and needs – and to share different ways of communicating with disabled people to promote social inclusion. "The Rainbow Troops" is the Includrama Project participants’ graduation production, and all members of the company are performing, which allows different people to experience the dramatic arts. Don’t miss this new dramatic play - "The Rainbow Troops" – with your friends and family, and experience the unique friendship of Includrama!
