ENCORE!—HKJC Celebrates Tai Kwun 8th Anniversary

1 May – 1 July 2026
CarnivalCurrent

Tai Kwun marks its eighth anniversary, joining hands with The Hong Kong Jockey Club to introduce a dynamic season bursting with imagination and connection.

To celebrate Tai Kwun’s eighth anniversary and build on past successes, this year’s theme “A Vibrant Summer Awaits” introduces an early-summer line-up through a multi-faceted programme, coalescing around the Parade Ground as it transforms into a stylish deck from 22 May. With a verdant lawn and relaxed, resort-like setting, the space becomes an urban oasis where visitors can recharge between exhibitions, world‑class performances and a refined mix of dining, drinking and shopping.

Tai Kwun emerges as more than a destination, reaffirming its role as a living, evolving gift to the city. Programmes range from guided tours offering new angles on the site’s history and architecture to hands‑on workshops and gallery explorations. Extending beyond Tai Kwun itself, the tram tour takes learning into the city, travelling through Hong Kong’s built and natural landscapes while tracing its intangible cultural heritage. As an anniversary treat, visitors can enjoy 20% off on selected ticketed programmes.

Together with the Club, Tai Kwun aspires to contribute to a culturally vibrant Hong Kong, amplifying the city’s role as a thriving arts and cultural hub in the region and the global arena.
