ExhibitionsPast

Discover the wonders of the human brain at our special interactive exhibition, in celebration of Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing's 25th anniversary.

Exhibition details

The Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing (JCCPA) was established in 2000, marking the city’s first specialised and integrated dementia care service centre. To celebrate the centre’s 25th anniversary and promote brain health, we are bringing you an interactive exhibition named JCCPA 25th Anniversary Presents: Echoes of Memory: An Interactive Journey at D·PARK in Tsuen Wan from 1 October to 10 October 2025.

Participants can learn about dementia and ways to reduce risk.

You can explore five interactive zones, each thoughtfully designed to guide visitors step by step through the fascinating mysteries of the brain:

Zone 1: Whisper of the Four Lobes
Discover the roles of the temporal, parietal, frontal, and occipital lobes in memory, sensory perception, thinking, and vision.

Zone 2: Open Dementia City
Experience three immersive sensory simulations, and grasp the daily challenges faced by people living with dementia, fostering empathy and social awareness.

Zone 3: Final Memories
Step into a cozy cabin and write down a cherished memory. You are prompted to reflect on the value of recollection and show solidarity with those affected by dementia.

Zone 4: The 14 Risk Factors
Feature vivid illustrations by local artist Don Mak. This zone brings to life the 14 risk factors for dementia identified in The Lancet report. Through 14 interactive installations, you are invited to connect preventive knowledge with everyday experiences.

Zone 5: Silver Footprints
Revisit JCCPA’s 25-year journey in dementia care. This zone celebrates its achievements, community impact, and ongoing commitment.

We are committed to promoting brain health and raising awareness of dementia across the community. This exhibition is one of the many ways we continue to support public health and health education in Hong Kong, all in support of creating stronger and healthier communities together.
