Sports event details
HKGX 2025 IBF World Championships takes place from 24 November to 5 December at Top Bowl in Kai Tak Sports Park and followed by competitions at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai.
Organised by the International Bowling Federation (IBF) and Hong Kong China Tenpin Bowling Congress (HKCTBC), the biennial official world championship hosts successfully qualified teams—men and women—from the five zones under IBF: Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
On 4 and 5 December, the trios and team of five semi-finals and finals take place at the Elizabeth Stadium, with free admission for around 1,500 spectators to watch the thrilling competition.
To engage the public to immerse in the joy of sports, as the Official Community Partner of the HKGX 2025 IBF World Championships, we are organising the “Jockey Club 2025 IBF World Championships Community Partnerships Programmes”, which include guided tours, volunteer training, university internships, sports and cultural booth exhibitions, master class, bowling experience sessions, as well as a coaching clinic for school teachers.
