Event details

As one of the Club’s exciting Year of the Horse Campaign events, we once again join the International Chinese New Year Night Parade on the first day of the Year of the Horse, and are honoured to be the sole Parade Route Sponsor.

Our “Riding High Together in the Year of the Horse” float features three glittering horses that take centre stage. Their energetic lights symbolise the vitality and vibrancy of the new year and reflects the energy of the Hong Kong people. HKJC Equestrian Team rider and Asian Championship medallist Patrick Lam, together with Club Apprentice Jockey Britney Wong will appear on the float. They will join the lion dance crews, and our “Progressing Together Cheering Team” to deliver festive blessings to the public.

We are giving away 100 parade tickets to beneficiaries of our charities projects, including JC Project
Bonfire
, JC Project MuSE, and JC PROJECT LIFT, offering people from different ages and backgrounds the chance to enjoy this signature event.

Following the parade, the float goes on display at the Year of the Horse Raceday at Sha Tin Racecourse on the third day of the Year of the Horse (19 Feb). Come take a selfie with our float to share the festive joy!
