The Hong Kong Jockey Club is committed to advancing arts and culture to enrich the lives of people in Hong Kong. Since 2013, we have supported the annual Hong Kong Flower Show, an event that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and participation from local, Chinese Mainland and overseas horticultural organisations.
This year’s show celebrates Stock as its theme flower under the theme “A Fragrant Journey through Hong Kong” with colourful displays that reflect the city’s unique character. The show continues to offer a rich mix of floral exhibits, landscaped gardens and interactive programmes.
We support a variety of educational programmes including the Jockey Club Student Drawing Competition to foster students’ ability in appreciating the nature, and the Mosaiculture Display by Students, where students co-create flower displays ahead of the show.
Families can also take part in the Jockey Club Community Green Playground and engage in experiential learnings that deepen their understanding of conservation and nature appreciation. Volunteers from our CARE@hkjc team also provide onsite support, accompanying children as they play and explore the facilities while sharing environmental messages. They also serve as green ambassadors after the show, assisting in dismantling displays and reusing plants.
Sustainability-focused activities such as the Jockey Club Flower Re-planting Scheme encourage participants from schools and organisations to re-plant recyclable flowers after the show, while the Jockey Club One Person One Flower Scheme distributes seedlings and learning materials to students to nurture everyday green habits.
To broaden public access, the Jockey Club Hong Kong Flower Show Transport Subsidy Scheme cum Guided Tour provides free transport and guided visits for schools, elderly centres, disabled groups and less-privileged communities.

Under the theme of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics, this Hong Kong Palace Museum’s first outdoor public art exhibition features six sculptures and multi-media installations created by six cross-disciplinary Hong Kong artists and architect, presenting poetic and zen-style landscapes through a contemporary lens.
