Art After Hours: Beings in Motion

In collaboration with Art Basel Hong Kong, Art After Hours centers around the theme of “embodied knowledge”, explores the body as a site of expression that invites audience to engage with lived experience and critical inquiries relevant to contemporary society.

Artists’ Night 2026  (By Invitation)

In collaboration with Art Basel Hong Kong for the third year, Artists’ Night 2026 unfolds across multiple venues at Tai Kwun, and celebrates emerging and experimental performers, and visual artists active in Hong Kong, the region and internationally. 

Fire Drill Scenario

Theatres or any kind of exhibition spaces are loaded with different kinds of risks, as many people gather in a confined space. Cross-media artist Geumhyung Jeong choreographs safety instructions to familiarise the audience with the emergency manual and evacuation routes.

Tai Kwun Contemporary Art Exhibition

Stay Connected: Supplying the Globe

The second chapter of Stay Connected: Art and China Since 2008, this exhibition features more than 70 artworks from over 40 participating artists, who give insights into the individual stories, family histories and lesser-seen places impacted by globalisation and by China’s unprecedented economic growth in recent decades.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: The Art Plaza Project at the Hong Kong Palace Museum

Under the theme of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics, this Hong Kong Palace Museum’s first outdoor public art exhibition features six sculptures and multi-media installations created by six cross-disciplinary Hong Kong artists and architect, presenting poetic and zen-style landscapes through a contemporary lens.
