Event details

The UCI Track World Cup (formerly known as the UCI Track Nations Cup) is a premier annual international track cycling series. As one of the most significant events on the UCI calendar, alongside the World Championships and the Olympic Games, it offers cyclists the opportunity to earn substantial world ranking points.

Organised by the Hong Kong Cycling Association, the 2026 UCI Track World Cup (Hong Kong, China) is the second round of the World Cup series. The event brings together nearly 400 riders from around 40 countries and regions, including Hong Kong, China representatives such as National Games gold medallist Ceci Lee, who takes on elite cyclists from around the world on home ground.

To enrich the event and allow members of the public to take part in fun and entertaining activities, a carnival is staged outside Hong Kong Velodrome on 18 and 19 April. The carnival features cycling‑themed games, booth activities and exhibitions, offering the public different ways to gain a deeper understanding of track cycling and experience its unique charm.

As the Official Community Partner of this event, we launch a one-year Jockey Club Track Cycling Community Engagement Campaign.  Throughout the year, school visits are arranged to nurture young track cycling talent. Promising students are identified and supported through school promotion activities, systematic training courses and participation in inter-school competitions. At the same time, sports experience sessions, cycling activities for groups with special needs, and race guide training are organised at different community venues with the core objective of promoting track cycling to the wider community. These efforts aim to increase public participation in the sport, foster inclusion, and cultivate a strong sporting culture within the community.
