As the Official Community Partner, we’ve helped over 12,000 people experience premier rugby events, all as part of our aim to encourage sports for all.
Sports event details
The Hong Kong Sevens (HK7s) is a premier event in the global sporting calendar. Each year, top rugby players and some of the world’s most passionate rugby fans gather at the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium to cheer “Game On!”.
Building on our long-running role as the Official Community Partner of the HK7s, we are extending this commitment to the HKFC 10s this year, helping over 12,000 people experience these premier rugby events, all as part of our aim to encourage sports for all.
Our CARE@hkjc Volunteer Team will host a booth in the fan village of the HK7s (17-19 April) at Kai Tak Sports Park and the HKFC 10s (14–16 April) at the Hong Kong Football Club, offering sports and interactive activities. We have expanded our booth at the HK7s this year, where our Volunteer Team will deliver live band performances on stage. As always, we support outreach programmes and youth rugby competitions and providing tickets to students, the elderly and the underprivileged so they can experience the thrill of rugby both on and off the pitch.
We partner with Hong Kong China Rugby and the Hong Kong Football Club to unite Hong Kong’s two greatest sporting passions – horse racing and rugby – for the very first time, showcasing our city’s world-class sport and entertainment and strong community spirit. Click here to learn more.
