Come experience “Hong Kong. Stories” through the lens of students with disabilities and their teachers. Enjoy student-led guided tours, alongside audio guides and AI-enabled accessibility features that reveal diverse perspectives. Join the five senses workshop to observe, create, and share—discovering your own unique way of seeing and feeling the world.

Event details

This exhibition, organised by the Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs, is one of the events under The Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment. It showcases photographs by students with disabilities and their teachers collected over the years, covering multiple districts across Hong Kong. Through the lens, the exhibition highlights the creators’ keen powers of observation and heartfelt emotional expression, offering visitors a rich and diverse visual experience.

To help visitors better understand the students’ works, guided tours led by students of the academy will be arranged throughout the exhibition period, sharing their stories and ideas behind creations.

The exhibition also incorporates accessibility features for the visually impaired, including audio guide services, and explores the use of AI technologies (such as converting images into audio descriptions), enabling more members of the public to appreciate “Hong Kong. Stories” in different ways.

In addition to guided tours, a five senses workshop will be held on the first public exhibition day. Engaging sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch, participants will be guided to observe, create and share, transforming everyday sensory experiences into words and images. Through observation and writing, the workshop encourages unique perspectives and reflection, providing a safe, judgment-free environment for participants to share their thoughts.
