The 54th Hong Kong Arts Festival

27 February – 30 March 2026
Art performancePast

The festival showcases world-class performances through The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series and the matinee programme, and promotes cross-disciplinary integration of arts and technology through the Jockey Club InnoArts Series.

Event details

To promote the development of arts and culture, The Hong Kong Jockey Club have provided continuous support to the Hong Kong Arts Festival since its inception in 1973.

This year, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series features the Ballet Nacional de España, which opens the festival with the performance of La Bella Otero. The series also includes Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, presented by the National Theatre Brno, and a performance by the Constellation Choir & Orchestra conducted by the renowned British conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

We also continue to support the Jockey Club InnoArts Series by commissioning original works and fostering the exchange of innovative ideas, thereby promoting the integration of arts and technology. This year, the series presents KAGAMI by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tin Drum—a groundbreaking mixed reality experience that expands creative boundaries and offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience the late maestro’s performance up close in a compelling new way.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Student Matinee Programme continues to support less-resourced students to enjoy free performances and make the arts accessible to all.

We are committed to building an inclusive, creative and vibrant Hong Kong, where everyone can enjoy the benefits offered by cultural experiences and an improved quality of life through arts.
