About the facility
The CUHK Medical Centre was established with the support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, with the mission of providing affordable healthcare services.
The 14-storey CUHK Medical Centre, with a total floor area of 100,000 square metres, is Hong Kong’s first “smart hospital”. It features numerous innovations to enhance procedures, operations and services, including paperless electronic medical records, mobile information and communication technology, and internet-of-things applications.
The CUHK Medical Centre also plays a key role in training the next generation of medical professionals and further strengthens the healthcare service network in Sha Tin District.
