About the facility

With the growing demand for healthcare professionals, The Hong Kong Jockey Club supported the establishment of the Jockey Club School of Health and Nursing at Hong Kong Metropolitan University to help advance healthcare education and address the long-term needs of the community.

The 13-storey building spans more than 18,000 square metres and features professional laboratories, lecture theatres, meeting rooms, and a sports and wellness centre. The Institute aims to train approximately 2,800 students annually, equipping them with the academic foundation and hands-on experience needed for future careers in health and nursing.

While focusing on academic training, the Institute also actively supports community-based health initiatives to raise public awareness of well-being.
