Overview The Tower advances veterinary medicine and life sciences, promotes the concept of “One Health”, and supports the prevention and control of infectious diseases.


About the facility

The Hong Kong Jockey Club supported the construction of the Jockey Club One Health Tower to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance education and research in veterinary medicine and life sciences. Construction of the Tower is expected to be completed in late 2025. It will help prevent and control infectious diseases, guided by the “One Health” approach, which recognises that the health of humans, animals and their shared environment is intrinsically interconnected.

 

The 15-storey building will incorporate sustainable design features and has a total floor area of over 24,000 square metres. The Tower is equipped with advanced teaching and research facilities and will serve as the home of the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences. It also provides an ideal environment for academic exchange and professional training.
