PHARM+ Community Pharmacies
About the facility
Hong Kong’s ageing population and the prevalence of chronic diseases and long-term illnesses pose challenges to the public healthcare system. To ease the burden and strengthen primary healthcare at the community level, The Hong Kong Jockey Club supported the establishment of the Jockey Club PHARM+ Community Medication Service Network, through which community pharmacists provide dispensing, medication management and consultation services.
Since 2024, PHARM+ Community Pharmacies have been established in multiple districts, bringing the public with accessible and affordable dispensing services. They also offer medication consultations, provide support for managing chronic and minor illnesses, and promote a healthy lifestyle and the safe use of medications.
