About the facility

A partnership between The Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Hong Kong SAR Government, Tai Kwun is an important initiative to conserve and revitalise the heritage site comprising the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison for adaptive reuse. It aims to transform the historic site into a culture and leisure destination, where arts, culture, heritage and leisure elements are creatively integrated for all to enjoy. 

The Club, through its Charities Trust, set up The Jockey Club CPS Limited, a not-for-profit company which provides heritage interpretation programmes across Tai Kwun and collaborates closely with local and overseas art communities as partners in presenting a variety of art programmes.

Today, Tai Kwun is a vibrant culture and leisure destination that brings people together through art exhibitions, performances, and lifestyle events.
