The thrilling matches provided a platform for young players to learn from each other, sharing experiences and skills. Both matches drew over 8,900 spectators, demonstrating their enthusiastic support for these elite young players.

Connect the community: A football carnival for all

The Academy Summit offers a unique blend of football and cultural exchange experiences for young players. It also provides an opportunity for our community to come together and share the joy of football, with highlights including meeting Manchester United Legends, enjoying music performance and enjoying game booths.

We have long been committed to youth football development. Fostering cultural exchange and athletic training, the JC Youth Football Academy Summit exposes participants to new people and ideas, broadening their horizons.

Since 2017, we have collaborated with Manchester United (Man Utd) and The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA) to introduce the Academy Summit. It is now supported by donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for programme operation. It encourages youth players to "learn together, train together, play together".

The Academy Summit is a week-long programme that brings together the Manchester United Academy U16, Hong Kong Premier Youth League U18 Champions—Kitchee and Hong Kong, China U16 Representative Team. They engage in a series of training sessions, friendly matches and cultural activities, as well as community event.
