We reward outstanding students for their intellect, character, leadership qualities and commitment to community service, and nurture them into caring leaders for a better Hong Kong.
Nurturing caring leaders for a better Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships were established in 1998 with the aim of nurturing talent for Hong Kong. Since then, we have helped more than 1,110 young students pursue their goals in life through scholarship awards.
The scholarships have grown significantly over the years, expanding to include students with special educational needs, vocational education students, postgraduate students and students who achieved excellence while facing adversities in life. Outstanding students, known as JC Scholars, are rewarded for their intellect, character, leadership qualities and commitment to community service. A Scholarships Secretariat provides them with opportunities for learning, personal development and social service in helping them become future community leaders.
