Offering more than just classroom lectures, we are committed to nurturing next-gen talents in Hong Kong.

Calling all young sports enthusiasts or adventurers! The JC Junior Sports Reporters Programme (the Programme) is your chance to discover what it takes to become a sports journalist. We offer an action-packed adventure that will provide you with opportunities to cover local sports events and participate in live webcasts as commentators.

In collaboration with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the Programme is now supported by donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for programme operation. This is your key to unlocking new possibilities to level up your communications and presentation skills. By participating, you will be able to step up and equip yourself for the increasingly vibrant sports scene in Hong Kong.

An exciting journey into sports journalism awaits

Participants aged 17-25 will receive basic journalism training and develop skills such as writing, commentary, programme hosting, photography, videography and more from industry professionals during the six-month programme. Besides interactive sessions led by seasoned media professionals who will share their expert tips and tricks, participants will be able to develop a sense of responsibility and a good attitude towards work through practical projects and activities.

Outstanding participants may even be recommended to media organisations for summer internships and overseas opportunities including sports reporting experience in Manchester.

Over 70 graduates from the Programme have successfully launched their careers in media or sports-related industries.
