21C@JC

With its name symbolising the optimum temperature for Daisies to flourish, “21C” is an initiative by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust aimed at transforming the Integrated Children and Youth Service Centre (“ICYSC”) into vibrant, future-looking and youth-driven spaces by connecting with new virtual ICYSCs and becoming co-creation platforms for active youth participation in social good. Through engaging youth-centric user experience, 21C empowers youth to unleash their potential and creates a brighter future for Hong Kong’s next generation.

36 ICYSCs from 15 operators will partner with young people to pioneer these transformative approaches, building momentum for future adoption across the wider sector.

The “21C Innovation Fund Scheme”, one of the major project artefacts, inspires the power of “youth and adult co-creation”, inviting teenagers and social workers to jointly ignite endless creativity, constructing new spaces, new services, and new user experiences for the 21st Century ICYSCs. Each participating team pull out all the stops, presenting their innovative proposal to the panel of judges in a bid to win the additional funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, bringing their conceptions one step closer to reality!
