On 3 November, CARE volunteers headed to Mui Wo early in the morning for an elderly visit organised by the Islands Community Foundation Association. Under the guidance of community members, over 150 CARE volunteers paid visits to elderly households in groups of two and presented them with goodie bags.

2018 was the fourth year for the Islands Community Foundation Association to organise visits for elderly living in remote areas, aimed at mobilising volunteer groups from all fields to show care for and to gain understanding of the elderly in remote areas like Tai O, Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, Peng Chau, Mui Wo, Tung Chung and Lantau South by paying visits to them.
