Having limited opportunities to learn and play musical instruments, ethnic minority (EM) students from Shek Kip Mei enjoyed a day with Chinese drum performance by CARE Drum Team members and a workshop on playing Chinese drum workshop in Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra Ltd on 13 July.

After the workshop, CARE team led the EM students to Dr Sun Yat Sen Museum located in Kom Tong Hall in Central. Kom Tong Hall is declared a monument in 2010, and the students were amazed by the splendid structure and its blending of Chinese and Western architectural styles.

CARE Volunteer Team has always been providing multi-faceted services to the community. CARE Chinese Drum Team was formed in 2014 with 15 team members. They have actively participated in various community events and carnivals,one of the highlights would be the Chinese drum performances at "Riding High Together Elderly Lunches" in Sha Tin Racecourse in 2017.
