The Club's CARE@hkjc Volunteer Team has been supporting the Charity Walk organised by The Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) for the forth consecutive year. In this year's "AVS Charity Walk & Run for Volunteering 2016", the CARE Team is honoured to receive the Silver Award of "Most Supportive Team Award", thanks to the effort of the volunteers for inviting their family members and friends to join which enabled the remarkable participation of 187 walkers.

With an aim to raise fund for promoting volunteerism, the "AVS Charity Walk & Run for Volunteering 2016" was held on Sunday 25 September at Tseng Kwan O. The walk covered approximately 3.5 km along the Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Promenade with starting and finishing points located at Tseng Kwan O Evangel College. Despite the flaming sun and extremely hot weather on the day, our volunteers carried on with the walk together with never-back-down benevolence.
