All Categories Staff Volunteer Activities About the Trust

Over 100 members of CARE Volunteer Team including their friends or family members joined the "ChariTea 2017" Programme organised by the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) on Wednesday 8 March for supporting the International Women's Day. They helped distributing free red date tea bags along with health tips to the public which also delivered the message of showing care and support to women.

Although it is a normal working day, more than 100 volunteers joined the service which broke the record of the number of participants in the past. This encouraging result is perhaps the result of the newly explored delivery locations in the city which facilitated the volunteers to join. The five delivery locations included Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Tin Shui Wai, Cheung Sha Wan and Wan Chai. The Club has been the sponsor of this programme for the seventh consecutive year.
