Up to 2018, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Fund has sponsored The Jockey Club Community Green Playground at the Hong Kong Flower Show for three consecutive years, with an aim to instill the idea of environmental protection into the children. At the same time, CARE volunteer team has also supported the event as motivator three years in a row. 

On 17 and 24 March, 70 CARE members assisted the two-day event held on two consecutive Saturdays on the Central Lawn of Victoria Park. To ensure the smoothness of the event, volunteers had already participated in a training session in advance to understand the game rules, booth setting and safety regulations. 

Part of the materials used in the playground was donated by the local community, including but not limited to used car tiers, straw and cartons. Volunteers did not only act as game facilitators but also as instructors to show children the concept of recycling while having fun with them.
