While the Chinese Lunar New Year is on its way, CARE Cantonese Opera Team has been very busy in January, bringing joy and warmth to the community.

Being invited by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and TWGHs Ma Cheng Shuk Ying Home for the Elderly, the Team delivered a number of Cantonese Opera songs at both organisations' year-end reunion luncheon, contributing to the celebratory atmosphere ahead of the Year of the Rat. The Team also visited three elderly homes, namely Ho Yam Care and Attention Home of the Elderly (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen), Caritas Harold H.W. Lee Care and Attention Home, and Sin Tin Toa Home for the Aged. In addition to the Team's heartfelt performance, our volunteers sang the Chinese New Year songs with the elders together and presented some scarfs knitted by CARE volunteers, hopefully to deliver extra love and warmth to the elderly.
