Hong Kong Pet Show 2025, which is the largest public pet event in the city, was held from 6 to 9 February at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. The CARE@hkjc Volunteer Team, well-known for their commitment to animal-related issues, supported booth operations of two working partners, namely Hong Kong Rabbit Society and Hong Kong Society of Herpetology.

80 CARE@hkjc volunteers were mobilised to assist with the booth operations and charity sales of the two organisations, helping to raise funds for their daily care of abandoned animals. Volunteers also engaged with members of the public, sharing knowledge about the care, behaviour and habits of rabbits, reptiles and amphibians. Through these interactions, they promoted proper attitudes towards animal care, and spread messages about “adopt, don't shop”, prevention of abandonment and animal protection.
