The Club donated HK$380 million to launch "CADENZA: A Jockey Club Initiative for Seniors" for the purpose of promoting new approaches to elderly care. The CADENZA Hub is one of the innovative service models under the programme.

Opened in 2009, the Jockey Club CADENZA Hub is a one-stop centre that adopts an integrated medical and social care approach to promote the importance of primary healthcare among middle-aged and elderly people.
