The Club has donated HK$49.6 million to fund the Enhanced Home Renal Replacement Therapy Programme and give renal patients a better quality of life.

The first phase of the Enhanced Home Renal Replacement Therapy Programme was launched in 2010, with the second phase beginning in 2013. The donation has enabled the Hospital Authority to acquire 400 sets of Nocturnal Home Haemodialysis machines and home Automatic Peritoneal Dialysis machines as well as train a group of medical staff members to teach patients how to use self-dialysis procedures at home. This has given these patients a better quality of life and helped alleviate their financial burden.
