How to make homemade fertiliser

In recent years, using food waste to make organic fertiliser has been promoted; but actually, not all food waste can be used. Leftovers and dairy products are breeding grounds for bacteria, while bug-infested greens may allow bacteria to spread. Plus, items that are too small or easy to crush will reduce the permeability and decomposition rate of the compost, which makes them also unsuitable to use.

Now that we’re clear on the preparations, let’s listen to a Green Volunteer teach us how to make it!
