Fitness ideas for the Olympics

The Olympics take place once every four years, and you won’t want to miss them! Rio is 11 hours behind Hong Kong; therefore most events will be broadcast overnight. How can you keep fit and perform at work or school after staying up all night? Try the following tips!

  • Eating junk food late at night will result in water retention and bags under your eyes! Try fruit and veggies or lightly salted popcorn, and drink mint tea or sparkling water.
  • Try to rest and massage your eyes during the day. Save your energy for watching the Games at night.
  • During commercial breaks, do light exercise – sit ups or push ups – to refresh you and help you keep fit.
  • It’s best not to stay up two nights in a row; and if you’re too tired, go to bed!

So now you can maintain your energy, and don’t forget to take your kids to enjoy the rest of the summer holiday! Maggie will bring you to a fun place where you can experience the Olympic spirit!
