How to set the “starting line” for children?

“Get a head start” is an idea that the earlier one starts learning, the more outstanding they will be. In fact, there is no specific criteria for the “starting line”, it has to match the child’s psychological and physical development in order to be effective.

Just like learning sports: Children Fitness Instructors recommend that children under the age of six should first learn basic skills like running, jumping, throwing, crawling and kicking. Children older than six can be introduced to other kinds of sports in a fun way, such as swimming, badminton and soccer.

More advanced training can be postponed until the child is between 7-14 years old when the body is more developed. As this type of training is usually both lengthy and intensive, the training programme may be too specific and not suitable for those who are too young.

Let’s see how a Children Fitness Instructor demonstrate some simple and fun exercises for kids!
