What should we eat before exercise?

If you don’t eat or eat too little before exercise, you may be prone to low blood sugar symptoms or dizziness – both of which will affect your performance. According to sports nutritionists, eating high-carbohydrate foods beforehand will help you break down fat during exercise. Bread, rice, noodles or fruits are among some of the carbohydrate-rich choices that can provide the body with energy reserves. How much to consume depends on when your exercise starts – and either eating too much or too little can affect your performance.
